There are three forms of Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA, ALA, and DHA. Good sources for ALA include walnuts, flax, soybeans and canola oil. EPA and DHA are mainly present in algae and fish. Since EPA and DHA are considered to be the most beneficial, use a fish oil supplement such as those readily available at any health food store. Make sure you use a product certified as free of mercury and other heavy metals (most reputable brands should be fine). Another tip is to use canola oil in your baking for your EPAs along with a daily handful of walnuts.

Great list, much appreciated. I’ve been looking into the benefits of fish oil and should i worry about taking the supplements. I was told that they are just a good idea in general, but after this post I’m convinced. Thanks!
This information is really heal-full for us, I agree with you and 18 health issues.
Thanks for sharing this information
I completely agree, fish oil is one of the three most important supplements today I feel. Nearly everyone should be using it daily. I take fish oil, creatine monohydrate, and whey protein daily. Nice post.
